Leland LeGrand Van Vleet, 89, passed away on July 15, 2017. Lee was born on April 20, 1928 in Magna, Utah to Russell Eugene Van Vleet and Nancy Lavina (Stewart) Van Vleet.

Lee is survived by his wife of 21 years, Beverly Van Vleet, his daughter, Karen (Ron) Whipp of Riverton, Utah, five stepchildren Dennis (Danielle) Baird, Sandra Fowler, Alan (Sue) Baird, Gregory (Suzanne) Baird, Jeff (Patty) Baird, three grandchildren, and many step-grandchildren.  Lee’s son, Leland Scott Van Vleet, passed away in 2009.

Lee lived in Magna, West Valley, Salt Lake City, Coalville, and in 1996 moved to St. George, where he met and married Beverly Baird.
Lee was a member of the Bloomington 5th Ward and he loved the St. George Temple.  As long as his health permitted, he attended the St. George Temple every Tuesday.
