Bernardus "Ben" Theodorus Dodenbier

Ben Dodenbier unexpectedly passed away in St George, Utah at the age of 84.  Ben was born on December 4, 1936 in Apeldoorn, Netherlands.  He was the youngest of 4 children born to Bernardus and Catherine Berndes.

Ben was a welder by trade. He also served 3 years in the US Army serving 2 of those years in Korea. Ben Loved and spent many hours doing family history.

He married Maria “Mary” Dubois on July 10, 1959 in Salt Lake City.  The same day 3 years later they were sealed in the Logan Temple.  Ben is survived by his wife and one daughter, Karen.  He was preceded in death by his daughter Sonja Dondenbier, his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 4th at 12 noon in the LDS chapel located at 259 North Mall Drive, St George, Utah.  A viewing will be held at the church prior to services from 10 am to 11:45 am.   Interment will be on Friday August 6 with a graveside service at 11 am in the Mountain View Memorial Cemetery in Salt Lake City, Utah.
