Bobby Keith Qualls, 81 years old of Hurricane City, Utah passed away on December 15, 2023 at St. George Regional Hospital, surrounded by loved ones.

Bobby was born in Slaton, Texas on December 3, 1942 to Anna Faye Lane Qualls & Edwin Harold Qualls. Not long after Bobby & his family moved to Southern California, Bobby started working at a job he loved for the operating engineers. Bobby was a 40 year union member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 12. Bobby was always a great union member & such a hard worker. He was one of the best grader blade operators in his time and was recognized for his work by many.

After 40 years of hard work with the union, Bobby got hurt and decided he needed a change. This is when he moved to St. George, Utah to be with his eldest son, Michael Qualls & his granddaughter, Adrianna Burkeen. Not long after being in St. George, Bobby decided this is where he wanted to settle. Bobby loved the Hurricane, St. George, Utah area for the sand dunes.  Bobby lived & loved to go riding and camping with his family, his son & grandkids and all of the many friends & acquaintances he met out at the sand dunes. Bobby love to ride the dunes on his sports bike from Sand Hollow out to Coral Pink and all around. Anything from drag racing to riding the trails and climbing the dunes. Bobby joined the ATV Tri-state Jamboree Club where he rode all over Utah, with some great friends and neighbors. He absolutely loved this. He had some amazing friends and riding buddies. This is one of the main things he lived for, as well as Nascar, football, his kids and grandkids.  He loved watching the race with his son, Mike & family and friends. And of course his favorite football team Seattle Seahawks.

Bobby was incredibly proud of his kids and all their hard work & accomplishments. Bobby was very close with his granddaughters who he spent a lot of the time with him.  He loved each and everyone of them very much. Anyone who got to know Bobby or meet Bobby knew he was a character, sassy, funny and sarcastic, sassy Bobby, everyone would say. Bobby will be forever missed & always loved. See you on the other side Grandpa. As he would always say to us!
