Bonnie Proden

Bonnie Proden, 89, was born to Srbislav Novak Popov and Branislava Vasic Popov in Serbia, former Yugoslavia. She married Dragisa Prodanovic in 1956. As U.S. citizens in 1976, their names officially became Douglas and Bonnie Proden.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dr. Douglas N. Proden; and brother, Predrag Popov. She is survived by her son, Robert (Marcia) Proden of Austin, Texas; daughter, Lana (Jordan) Smith of Cedar City, Utah; sister, Lana Brasovan of Bradenton, Florida; brother, Miodrag Popov of Novi Beograd, Serbia; grandchildren, Michelle Proden, Emalee Smith, and Austin (Aubrey) Smith; and great-grandchildren, Ailey Lemon and Wyatt Lane Smith.

After a brief illness, Bonnie passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025. Graveside service and interment planned for noon on May 2, 2025 at Tonaquint Cemetery in Saint George, Utah
