Brenda Kay Nisson

May 24, 1964 - April 3, 2022

On April 3rd, our Lord and Savior chose to bring our beloved Brenda Kay Nisson back to our eternal home.  Linda Ellis wrote about "The Dash", that little mark between our beginning and end date.  This dash only lasted 57 years for Brenda but she utilized those short years to serve a mission for her church to Peru, she became a real estate agent and worked in banking.  More importantly, she loved and cared for many family members but honorably and selflessly she was the soul caretaker for her sweet mom Helen until her passing.  Brenda had a beautiful heart and a laugh that was so contagious that you couldn't help but laugh right with her.  She loved animals and found herself saving any and all that couldn't find a home to be loved in.

Brenda was born in St. George, Utah and lived in Washington most of her life.  She spent a short time in Las Vegas and most recently found her secret garden in Enterprise where she found her solace.  In her last few years Brenda was able to find herself, she was able to slow down enough to consider what was true and real in turn allowing her to be at peace with herself and her surroundings.  Those that were blessed enough to have been touched by her will always carry a memory of her beautiful smile, stunning blue eyes, giving heart and amazing soul with them.

She leaves behind her older sister and best friend whom she spent hours a day talking to, Janette Nisson King and Donald King from New Castle, Pa and a brother Bruce and Laurie Nisson from Washington, Utah.  She was preceded in death by her father Darrell A. Nisson; mother and stepfather, Helen Bentley Nisson Jolley and Wilford Jolley; two brothers, Sheldon and Lonnie Nisson; and a niece, Whitney Nisson.

Brenda will be greatly missed but forever held close and remembered as a sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and most importantly a daughter of our Heavenly Father to which she has returned.

If you feel so inclined to donate in her memory, please make your gift to your local animal shelter in her name.
