He was born in 1962, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Richard W. Dubois and Patricia Fox.
Chuck grew up in Lakewood, Colorado, although his family had moved to several places in the West before settling in Colorado. He attended Brigham Young University-Provo before leaving for a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Netherlands. Due to medical reasons, Chuck came home temporarily. He then completed his mission in the Arkansas Little Rock Mission.
Following his return from Arkansas, he attended school at Brigham Young University - Hawaii. He married Elsa Villanueva in Laie, Hawaii. He completed his bachelor’s degree in accounting at the University of Utah. He then joined one of the Big 8 accounting firms, Deloitte and Touche, in Denver. Chuck was a CPA and spent most of his professional life specializing in healthcare. Some of the best years of his career were working for the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and Ernst & Young in the Twin Cities, culminating as an executive at Blue Cross Blue Shield Minnesota.
Chuck served in various church callings, including seminary teacher, bishop, and other stake positions. He and his wife completed a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Nebraska Omaha mission, a calling he cherished and filled with all his might and expertise. Chuck loved the Lord Jesus Christ and showed and shared it in the way he taught the gospel to others.
Above all, Chuck loved his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who cared deeply for his children and delighted in his grandchildren. His legacy of faith and family continues as he is survived by his wife, Elsa, children, Talise, Alex (Kylie), and Andrew (Lindsay), and five grandchildren. Among those he left behind are his beloved five sisters, brother, and their spouses. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Patricia.
