Clarice L. Christensen passed away on June 2, 2025 in St. George, Utah. Born in Boise, Idaho on May 10, 1950 to Carl D. Lusty and Alta C. Humphreys, she spent her early years in Idaho, Nevada, and Utah. She met her husband of 55 years (Steven) while attending Southern Utah University. They married on June 5, 1970 in the Manti Utah LDS Temple and raised their family in Utah.

Clarice was a diligent mother and homemaker to her four children. Clarice also worked in various occupations and was a successful construction equipment salesperson for the last 20 years of her professional life. She and Steve retired to Ivins, Utah in 2017.

Clarice loved to spend time with family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, completing crafts of all types, and decorating her home. Clarice was a generous neighbor and selflessly devoted her time and resources to many of her “adopted” families. Clarice delighted in serving others and valued being a disciple of Jesus Christ. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Clarice is survived by her husband, Steven, of Ivins, Utah; her son Todd (Connie) Christensen of Orem, Utah; her daughter Patrice (Justin) Rex of Meridian, Idaho; her daughter Lindsey (Corey) Barlow of Katy, Texas; her son Nick (Kimber) Christensen of Bayfield, Wisconsin; and her grandchildren: Dane Christensen, James Christensen, Elizabeth Christensen, Jake Rex, Sadie Rex, Kayden Barlow, Carter Barlow, Brendan Barlow, Hailey Barlow, Emery Barlow, Rex Christensen, Damien Christensen, and June Christensen. She is also survived by her mother, Alta Pierson, her sisters Theresa Lusty, Cecelia Lusty, and Demaree (Harry) Johnson, all of St. George, Utah; her brother Kirk (Kaydon) Lusty of Taylorsville, Utah, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Carl Lusty, her stepfather Walter “Pete” Pierson, and her sister, Janette Lusty.

Funeral services are Monday, June 9 at 11:00 AM at the LDS Chapel located at 625 Center Street Ivins, UT. A viewing will begin at 9:30 AM on the same date and the same location. Arrangements are made under the direction of Hughes Mortuary, 1037 East 700 South, St. George, Utah, (435) 674-5000.
