Connie Jo Richter

Our sweet Connie Jo Richter passed away peacefully on March 3rd, 2026 surrounded by loved ones in her home. Connie was born July 4th, 1938 to Sylvester & Helen Larrabee in Danville Illinois. She grew up and went to school in West Lebanon high school in Indiana. She worked in the Lakeview Hospital in admission. In 1970 she and her son Greg moved to Woodland Hills California she was ready for a change from small town life. Upon arriving in California she was transferring her auto insurance into the office of Karl Richter. On February 11th, 1972 Connie was married to Karl. Her life was filled with many new things. She learned to ski with Karl. She learned tennis so she could play with Karl, she found enjoyment in Harley rides. Connie traveled the world and traveled across the country on their motorcycle. She learned how to move from town to town as she followed Karl in his career. That gave her time to become a professional shopper. Their life was filled with travel throughout the world. Many trips to Europe, many cruises, and many islands. Most important was in 1975 they were blessed with their son Jason. He truly was the focus of her every day life she gave him all her time. Connie was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on June 29, 1974. She was sealed in the Los Angeles Temple to unite her family for all eternity. Connie served her father in heaven in many ways. She served in Relief Society, Primary she loved to serve & recently was the ward librarian. She always had love for everyone.

Connie is preceded in death by her Parents Sylvester & Helen Larrabee. And a great grand baby.

Connie is survived by her loving husband Karl O Richter. Her sister Pam Nelson(Vern) Nicole Petet, Scott Petet. Her son Jason Richter (Julia), Keltcie Cadwell, Jace Taylor Richter. Her daughter Debra Cary (Jim) Renee Brown, Brittany Erickson. Her son Randy Sargent (Linda) Heather Sargent, Cody Sargent. Her Son Greg Sargent, Shanna Sargent. Her step son Mike Richter (Becky), Corwin (Kristi) Richter, Kylee (Scott) Bitton, Conner (Hailey) Richter, Kaden (Olivia) Richter. Her step son Steve Richter (Kristen) Chase Richter (Allie). Her step son Ryan Richter (Keri), Cameron Richter (Jenna) Tyler Richter (Bekah) Emily Miura (McKay). And many great grandchildren.
