Cristian Lee, passed away suddenly Sunday morning, October 11th, 2026 in St. George, Utah. He was born in Asuncion, Paraguay on March 21st, 1976 to Teresa Kohler and Kyung Lee. Growing up in South America he had attended a catholic school with his two younger siblings, Michael Lee, and Janette Lee despite being raised as a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He loved playing soccer as a child, swimming competitively as a teen and collecting American rock records and CDs throughout. At 19 Cristian served a mission for the church, assigned initially to serve the people of Chile before his family successfully obtained their visas to come to America. Without much notice- the second year of his mission was spent in California where he would learn English on his own through immersion, side by side text translation, and DC comic books.
After completing his two years of religious service he would join his family in Washington state where he would meet the love of his life Cheristian Fanene. Soon after they would marry on November 18, 2000 and together welcome their eldest daughter Sineva Lee in August of 2001, and youngest son Noah Lee in January of 2007. His family of four would find themselves in Utah where he would go on to take a special interest in building computers, PC's, and learning about IT. Outside of working to install internet and fiber, he loved watching movies with his family, listening and talking about music, as well as learning to play guitar with his son to teach him. More than anything Cristian loved to make others laugh, travel with his family, and have dinner with them, whether it be a home cooked meal or out of the house to eat.
Cristian is a man of gentle strength. He is a loving father, brother, uncle, and son. If he saw anyone in need of help, he was there without having to be asked. Family, friend, coworker, or stranger, his way of love was through acts of service. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, a charmingly childish grin, and so many people who saw him as the provider he was.
Cristian Lee is survived by his wife Cheristian Fanene, his daughter Sineva Lee, and son Noah Lee who reside in St. George, Utah. He is also survived by his mother Teresa Kohler, his father Kyung Lee, and his younger brother Michael Lee in Washington; as well as younger sister Janette Lee in northern Utah.
Funeral services will be held on October 17th, 2026. Family and friends may reach out to inquire about further details if they have not already been notified.
