David Lawerence Fink

David Lawrence Fink entered into eternal rest on 04/26/2021 in St. George Utah, he was 88 years old.  His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, David stayed strong until the very end and was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy.  David was born in Los Angeles, California in 1932 to Marcelle Geitchlich and Charles L. Fink.  David was a natural entrepreneur and athlete who owned several businesses across the west coast and loved the game of basketball.  David was an avid baker and owned a restaurant where he was able to share his passion of baking with the community.  He was a talented carpenter, had a unique sense of humor, and scholar of history.  David loved to explore his personal family history as he was the first generation in his family to be born in this great nation; additionally he was always sharing his love of the gospel of Jesus Christ with his friends and neighbors.  He was always serving others within his community and was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  David joins his beautiful bride Barbara and daughter Yvonna Marie in heaven and is survived by his children, Ronald Lawrence, Marlene Ann, David Mark, Jennifer Lynn, Eric Scott, Stephanie Ann, and Michelle Suzanne.  His funeral service and memorial will be held at Tonaquint Cemetery Friday April 30th, 2021 at 1pm.
