Dianne Meier

Ivins, Utah - Dianne Meier passed away Wednesday, September 21st 2022. She was born November 20, 1954 in Albany, New York. Dianne was a resident of Ivins, Utah for 11 years. She was formerly employed by St. George Regional Hospital as a receptionist, greeting new people in the community and giving them thoughtful advice for a satisfying experience.

Her favorite hobbies included working in the garden and planting colorful local plants and trees.

Dianne loved the excitement of jet skiing, white water rafting and downhill skiing. Her favorite passion was going to the Las Vegas strip and also Fremont Street for a night of dinner and gambling. She was a winner!

Dianne felt tremendous love for her pet cats. So much so that she volunteered regularly at the local Ivins Animal Control Center which also included caring for cats and dogs abroad; raising money for their adoptions and care.

She is survived by her domestic partner Lawrence Malak; one son Lawrence Malak Jr., and three grandchildren: Natalia, Tyler, and Larry Jr.

Funeral services for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, September 27th, 2022 at 2:00pm at Hughes Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers and donations, family requests donations be made to Ivins City Animal Shelter.
