Dolores June Behning Hoepfner, 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 2025 in Saratoga Springs, Utah. Dolores was born February 2, 1938 in Duluth, Minnesota to Florence and William Behning. On May 24, 1959 she married the love of her life Clarence Emery Hoepfner in Pico Rivera, California. Together, they had one son, Curt Hoepfner and four wonderful grandchildren.
Dolores was a devoted wife and mother who meticulously took care of Clarence and Curt. She always made sure they were loved and taken care of.
Dolores also loved to work as a cosmetologist part time throughout her life. Her favorite part of the job was having an excuse to talk and gossip with all the ladies in town. Dolores also loved to work in the yard and garden no matter where they were living. She learned to sew at an early age and often made clothes for herself and the grandkids. Dolores also knew how to play the accordion. Later in life, she would laugh and say that she couldn’t remember how to play but every time she would start to move her fingers she would always make some music. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her son, Curt E. Hoepfner (Elizabeth) and grandchildren, Coty, Kalea (Jakob), Macady and Analeigh. She is preceded in death by her spouse, Clarence; parents, Florence and William Behning; and sister, Cleo (Robert) Cox.
