Donna Mae Paciocco

Mesquite, Nevada—Donna Mae Paciocco passed away on March 13, 2022. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on June 9, 1945, to Julian and Louise Krezel, and was lovingly cared for by Viola Krezel after Louise’s passing. Donna married Daniel Paciocco on January 12, 1963, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Philadelphia. Donna and Dan lived in five states—Pennsylvania, Texas, Nevada, Wyoming, and Washington­—and raised two children, Diana Paciocco Szymczak and Daniel Joseph Paciocco.

Donna was an avid mystery reader—you name it, she read it. She loved to solve puzzles, play cards and slots, and spend time with her many wonderful friends. She was known for her colorful opinions and big heart.

Donna is survived by Daniel Paciocco, her husband of 59 years; daughter Diana and son-in-law, Peter Szymczak, in Portland, Oregon; son Daniel and his partner, Tracy Hill, in Austin, Texas; and grandchildren Jacob, Jordan, and Gianna Paciocco.

Donna requested no services be held. Arrangements were made under the direction of Hughes Mortuary, 1037 East 700 South, St. George, Utah. In lieu of flowers, please light a candle for Donna, remember a fond memory, or donate to a charity most meaningful to you.
