Doreen Vivian Brydson Thompson

Doreen Thompson, of LaVerkin, UT., passed away peacefully at the age of 88, on October 8, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great grandmother. Doreen leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will live on in all who knew her.

Her heritage lives on through her children, Mark, Monte, and Miriam, 15 Grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Doreen will be remembered for her generosity, wisdom, and the love she had for her family and friends.

She is proceeded in death by her spouse, Barry and her children, Maree, Mike and Marlene. Like them, she will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A Celebration of Life, directed by Hughes Mortuary, will be held on October 16, 2025 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, LaVerkin 2nd Ward located at 481 North Main Street LaVerkin, Utah. The viewing will be held for 9 AM to 10:30 AM and the funeral services will be from 11 AM to 12 PM. Luncheon provided by the 2nd ward Relief Society after the services.
