Earl Delos Parry

Earl Delos Parry, 76 of St. George passed away May 9, 2015. He was born in Montwell, Utah on June 7, 1938 to Joel Hyrum and Elzina Adams Parry. The family later moved to Orem, Utah where he was raised. He married Janet Jakeman November 28, 1957. They have three children. Glenna (Anthony) Fincher, John (Charrie) Parry and Russel Parry. They also have 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Janet passed away February 19, 1996. They were later sealed in the Jordan River Temple in 1997. He married and was sealed to Myrna Johnson in January 4 1997 in the Provo Temple which added 8 more children. Lina (Kevin) Bills, Russell Ericksen, Nanci (Dennis) Wilding, Todd (Lynda) Ericksen, Brad (Jen) Ericksen, Shane (Emily) Ericksen, Braden (Micki) Ericksen, and Wendy (Justin) Smith. Also, 26 more grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Earl is survived by 4 siblings. Orvil (Barbara) Parry, Irene (Bill) Gamell, Betty (Frank) Young and Joel K. (Leila) Parry. Earl was a professional lineman and worked for Wasatch Electric Company for many years as an equipment operator. After his retirement they moved to St. George (Winchester Hills) where he resided at the time of his death. He enjoyed cars and trucks, buying, driving, fixing, restoring and anything else to do with vehicles. And most important, he was a very special, kind, loving husband, father and grandfather.  He loved us all with all his heart and was loved by everyone as well. Viewing will be Thursday evening, May 14 from 6-8 p.m. at Heideman Hughes Mortuary at 1037 East 700 South, St. George.
