Gabrielle Iverson

Gabrielle Iverson returned to her Heavenly Father on August 9, 2021, at the young age of 20.  Gabrielle is the daughter of Victor and Audrey Johnson Iverson of La Verkin, Utah.  She was born in Flagstaff, Arizona on January 19, 2001.  She grew up in Hurricane and La Verkin.  She loved running, exercise, her friends and was a beautiful pianist.  She often filled our home with soothing music that brought peace.  She loved to clog and swing dance.  She enjoyed good conversation and engaging and listening with others.  She loved self-improvement and would often share a Ted talk or something new she had learned.  She loved travel and adventure and wasn't afraid to explore new things.  She always wanted to go camping and fishing and would drag her brothers to go with her.

Gabrielle loved deeply and was loved by everyone who knew her.  She was an adventurous, fun loving, soul who was a joy to be around.  She cared for everyone but had a special spot for senior citizens and special needs people.  She was a loving daughter, a kind sister and caring friend.  She was kind to animals and had no fear of things that crawled and slithered.  She loved doing good things and was a devoted disciple of Christ. She served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the New York Historical Sites/ Missouri St Louis Mission and was loved and absolutely adored by all who knew her there.

She leaves a legacy of hope and love and had a special light that she shared with everyone who knew her.  Life does not give us all the answers but love and hope is eternal.  It was a blessing and a gift to know her.

She is survived by her parents, Victor and Audrey Iverson; sister/best friend, Cosette (Kruz) Solis; brothers/best friends, Moses, Gideon, & Isaiah; 2 beautiful nieces, Adalia and Ella Solis; grandparents, Dean and Marcia Johnson, Alice Iverson; aunts and uncles; Randal (Karina) Iverson, Liberty (Michael) Palfreyman, Shane (Brandi) Johnson, Mark (Jamie) Johnson, Ana (Jacob) Church, Joe (Lisa) Johnson, Natalie (Ruben) Kelley, Alex (Erica) Johnson, and so, so many cousins that she loved.  She is preceded in death by her grandparents Budd and Judy Iverson and uncles Sam Johnson and Michael Iverson.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 14, at 11 a.m. at the La Verkin West Chapel, 70 South 300 West, La Verkin, Utah.  Viewings will be Friday, August 13, from 6-8 pm and Saturday morning from 9-10:45 am.  Interment will take place immediately after at the La Verkin City Cemetery.
