Gerald Thomas Gilsdorf, 86, born April 2, 1929 in Winona, Minnesota to Ervin and Myrtle Gilsdorf. Gerry served in the Armed Forces in WWII and entertained the troops with his wonderful voice at many military functions. He retired from the Chevrolet Car Co. and moved to St. George in 2000. He was loved by many in the community as he walked daily with his beloved dog and constant companion, "Max" They were both taken suddenly from this world on August 5, 2015 May they rest in peace. We would like to thank all of his neighbors and friends for their sympathy and deeply appreciated help. We also apologize for the unavoidable delay of his service. He is survived by brothers,  Francis and Ronald, and sister-in-Iaws, Dena, Shirlea, and Barbara also many nieces and nephews. Services will be held.at the St. George Catholic Church Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers please donate to The Cancer Society or PAWS.
