Henrietta Harding Rager (Wee) passed away on July 24, 2025 to be with our Heavenly Father, her father Henry and brother Marvin. She had been fighting a chronic illness for the past few years.
Henrietta was born into Ás hįį hii (salt ) and Honá gháa hnii (one walks around) clans on May 17th, 1969 to Henry and Lavern Harding in Ganado, AZ. She was the 5th child of 6.
Henrietta graduated from Ganado High School in 1987. She participated in cheerleading and in the band where she played the clarinet. She moved to St George, UT in 1989. She spent some time at Dixie State College to become a Dental Assistant. She worked for Stapel Dentistry, then moved onto Southwest Oral Surgical Art (SWOSA). Henrietta really loved her job and the people she worked with. She met many people in her career that became lifelong friends. She always met people with a smile and a hug.
Henrietta enjoyed watching many sports, especially football. She was a big Dallas Cowboy’s and BYU fan. She loved watching the National Final Rodeo (NFR) and the Professional Bull Riding (PBR).
Henrietta married Brian E Rager on May 26, 2001(she got her cowboy). They have 6 children: 2 of Her’s, 1 of Brian’s and 3 of their own. She was blessed with 4 grandchildren.
Henrietta was preceded in death by Henry Harding (father) and Marvin Harding (brother). Henerietta is survived by her mother Lavern Harding of Ganado AZ, her brothers Michael Lincoln (Tina) and Tyron of Ganado Az, sisters Mary Lee (Paul) of St George UT, Jeniffer Showa Butte (Jonas) of Phoenix Az, and Marion Finn (Kevin) of Ganado AZ; her husband Brian Rager of Mesquite NV; her children Joey Harding and Jamessa Harding (Eric Ivey) of St George UT, Jacob Harding Rager of Payson UT, Austin and Krystopher of St George UT, stepdaughter Courtnee Rager (Kailey) of Mayfield UT; Grandchildren Eli Harding and Kaycee Ivey of St George UT, Nakita and J.J. Hansen of Mayfield UT
Family and Friends may visit Friday August 1st, 6 - 8:00pm at Hughes Mortuary at 1037 E 700 S, St George UT.
Viewing and funeral will be held Saturday August 2nd, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 920 South Morningside, St George UT. Viewing at 9:00-9:45am. Funeral at 10:00am. Henrietta will be laid to rest in the Tonaquint Cemetery.
