Jane Elizabeth Robison

November 23, 1970 — October 28, 2023

Saint George, UT

Jane Elizabeth Robison (Liz), passed away on Saturday, October 28th at the age of 52. She was born on November 23, 1970 in Salina, Kansas to Tom and Karalee Austin and was the second of three children.

Liz spent the first eight years of her life in Minneapolis, Kansas surrounded by family near the family farm. At the age of eight, her family moved to Blanding, Utah where she later attended San Juan High School where she made friendships that will last beyond this life. After graduating in 1989, she moved to Provo Utah and attended Court Reporting/Stenography school at Provo College before moving to West Virginia to begin her career. After two years she moved back to Utah and settled in St. George to start a family and launch Dixie Court Reporting. Unable to have children of her own, she adopted two children at their birth, Kaleb and Madison (Mat), both of whom she loves fiercely and unconditionally. She also loved the business she built and even more so, the relationships and friendships she created. At the age of 40, she took up running and fell in love with it, running the St George Marathon 10 times, along with several other marathons, half marathons, Spartan races and 6 half IRONMANs. She even qualified for the Boston Marathon.

Liz met Gregg Robison in December of 2015 and they were married on April 14, 2018 in St George, Utah. They were later sealed in the Newport Beach Temple on May 14, 2022. Combined they have six children and eight grandchildren.

In January of 2021 Liz was diagnosed with breast cancer and over the course of that year went through chemo, radiation and surgery. She was given a clean bill of health by the end of 2021 and spent 2022 running again and enjoying time with family and friends. In May, 2023 the cancer returned and became terminal.

Liz was an amazing wife, devoted mother, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and a cherished friend. Liz’s love and warmth enriched our lives and will be forever in our hearts. She was an incredible example of faith and unconditional love to all. Her unwavering belief in her Savior and His love touched the souls of all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Gregg Robison, her two children Kaleb and Madison Van Fleet, her stepchildren Miranda Evans (Sam), Cami Weston (Sam), Danielle Shaner (Colton) and Ira Robison (Makell) as well as eight step-grandchildren, her parents Tom and Karalee Austin, brother Tom Austin Jr (Becky), sister Melissa Austin and many nieces and nephews.
