Jared Paul Tobler was born on July 16, 1977 in Washington, Utah to Paul John Tobler and Terri Peck Tobler. He passed away on June 15, 2026 as a result of a severe car accident, one month shy of his 49th birthday. Jared was the first child and the only boy, joyfully welcoming his three younger sisters, Christy, Trisha and Sandi. He always loved and watched out for them.
Jared had an ideal childhood growing up in then, small town Washington. He was surrounded by aunt and uncles, cousins, friends and loving neighbors. He lived the adage of “It takes a village.” He had all his aunts, friend’s moms, and neighbors watching out for the slew of boys as they roamed the streets. They welcomed them into their homes, fed them, disciplined them, hugged and loved them and sent them home at the end of the day.
In September 1997 he married Cachet Jeppson and together they had 2 beautiful sons. Quincy Paul, and Micah Jared, who were and are the light of his life. They later divorced but remained friends.
After High School Jared embarked on a plumbing career where he discovered his knack for fixing things and envisioning how water should flow through buildings. He was always a dedicated worker and his work ethic was matched only by his commitment to his family. Jared, after working with several companies, spent his time with the union in Phoenix before joining his best friend Jared MacIntyre at his plumbing company.
Seeking a new start, Jared moved to Phoenix where he found a second family in the MacIntyre’s. They housed, fed, provided a safe haven and loved him through some of his most difficult times. He remained eternally grateful to his brother Jared, Deb, Sandra and Alex for their caring and unconditional love.
Jared found true love again with Kristin (Krissy) Harmon marrying her on Feb 29, 2024. Their journey together included wonderful moments and challenges but their love for each other never wavered.
Jared loved his family and extended family. He loved the Tobler family reunions, the backyard basketball games, family trips and being together. He fought valiantly against his struggles never giving up on himself or his dreams. Jared kept his fight to the end. His wife, beautiful sons and granddaughters were his constant motivation to keep trying.
Jared had many true and loyal friends that stood by him for good times and bad offering help and encouragement. Jared was known for his charm and humor. He lit up a room and made friends easily. He was kind and thoughtful always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. Jared loved the gym, travel and adventures. He always challenged himself!
He will be greatly missed and forever loved by:
-His wife, Kristin Tobler
-His boys, Quincy, (Tiffani) Tobler - Aria and Melody and Micah Tobler
His parents: Paul and Terri Tobler
His sisters and their families:
Christy (Brady) Kay – Hanna, Payton and Toby
Trisha (Eric) Ashford – Shaelynn and Alyssa
Sandi (Ross) Fackler – Aiden, Ava and Cooper
We’re sure his grandparents Glen and Bea Tobler and Dale and Joyce Peck were there along with other family members to greet him and welcome him home.
