JoAnn VanHooser

JoAnn VanHooser has lived in St George, Utah for the last 8 years. She was born in Ogden, Utah on July 22, 1940, to Darwin Royal Southwick and Miriam Francis (Carr) Southwick. She was 84 years old when she passed away on 9/14/2024. 

JoAnn was a loving mother and caregiver to many. She leaves behind 5 children: William Davis Coffey of Queen Creek, Arizona; Robin Leigh Vaughn of St George, Utah; Darby Gail Bradley of St George, Utah; Charles Darwin Coffey of Bellingham, Washington, and Billie Jo Folse of Lake Charles, Louisiana. 

At her passing she had 16 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Kay Maddox of Gold Hill, Oregon. Living siblings include one sister, Susan Miriam Ray of Lehi, Utah and three brothers: Douglas Dean Southwick of St George, Utah; Michel Ted Southwick of St. George, Utah; and Leonard Darwin Southwick of Herriman, Utah. 

Funeral services will be held September 28, 2024, at 12:00 noon at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Boulder Ridge Stake Center, 1762 South River Road, St George, Utah.
