Judith S McClure a St. George resident age 88 passed away June 22, 2026. She was born August 2, 1937 and Elsinore, Utah to Ronald Sylvester and LaPreal Tuft. She married Paul W McClure, September 11, 1959 at the Salt Lake temple.
She was raised in Draper, Utah with her two brothers and two sisters. Who would say she might be a little bossy, especially after cleaning the floor you were forbidden to walk on it. She graduated from Jordan high school and married The love of her life. She worked for some time in a library, but loved skiing, boating, cooking. She had the honor to sew costumes for the Nauvoo pageant and clothing for her self, children and quilts for anyone who needed one. She loved every calling she ever had in the church. More then anything she loved being a mother grandmother and a great grandmother. If you were lucky enough to know her, you know how lucky her family was to have her she will be missed.
She is survived by her Daughter Allison Douglas DeVaul. Her grandkids Shawn and Sharon Mcclure, Scott and Rachael McClure, Kerry McClure and Aleena Sees, Candice, Ballard and Blade Hirshi, And Chelsey McClure.
Her Great grand children, zaylie, avree, Shawn jr. Mcclure, Teagan Ballerd, and Skyler, Braxton and Melanie McClure. And her sister’s Jeneen Nelsen, and Barbara Prendergast.
She is proceeded and death by Her husband Paul W McClure And their children, Terese, Erin, Kristin and Erica mcclure. Her parents, Ronald Sylvester, and LePreal Tuft Sylvester. And her brothers, Ralph Sylvester and Rex Sylvester.
Funeral and viewing services will be held Friday, June 26 at 6 PM at the Cotton Manor ward 2583 E. 350 N., St. George Utah.
There will be a graveside service Saturday, June 27 at 1 PM at the Draper cemetery 12 441 S. 900 E. Draper Utah.
We would like to thank the cotton manner award for the Services and the Draper first and 12th ward for providing food during this time. Thank you.
