Justin LeRoy Hustead

Justin LeRoy Hustead "Jut", 45, returned to the arms of his loving Heavenly Father on August 15, 2025.

Justin was born september 21,1979 in Murray, Utah to Garth and LeAnn Hustead. Justin married his wife, McKaylee, on October 6, 2022 and became an adoring father to her two children whom he loved immensley.

Justin's life can be encapsulated by 4 "F" words. Family, Friends, Food and Fun.

Family: Justin was the third of five kids. He spent his early years moving around while his father opened many Yamaha dealerships. His teenage and young adult life was spent in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he graduated from Silverado High School in 1998.

Justin Loved his family very much, especially his mom. He was often characterized as a "momma's boy". A title he was proud of until the end. He was a loving brother and son, an incredible uncle, and a devoted husband and father.

Justin met McKaylee Leavitt, in 2022, he finally gathered the courage to talk to her in April during a softball game. Their romance was fast and beautiful, they were married a short 6 months later. Justin was a loving and devoted father to his three children, Chandler, Bryson and Addalynn. Everything he did, he did for his family.

Friends: Justin was an incredible friend to anyone he met. If you were lucky enough to be in his life, your life was better for it. He was the first one to lend a helping hand, and the last one to leave. Justin had a heart of gold and was loved by many. He always left you better than he found you.

Food: Justin loved his food, especially his wife's cooking and his mom's chocolate chip cookies. McKaylee and him often joked that her cooking is what sealed the deal for him.

Fun: Justin was always up for an adventure, anywhere you wanted to go, he would be there, and fast! He loved anything 2 wheels or off-road. He had a zest for life that was unmatched and an infectious personality and laugh that will leave a gaping hole in our lives.

Justin was preceded in death by his father Garth Gary Hustead, his grandparents LeGrand and Wilma Vreeken as well as Gary and Janice Hustead. He is survived by his mother, LeAnn, his brothers Ernie (Erika), Gareth (Julie), his sisters Jennie (Kevin), Crystal (Scott). His wife McKaylee, his sons Chandler (Jocelyn), Bryson and daughter Addalynn. As well as many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 22nd, at 12:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 3815 Rachel Drive Santa Clara, Utah. A viewing will take place prior to the funeral at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Santa Clara City Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
