It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of our beloved Kaiden, age 21, of St. George, Utah.
Kaiden was born on November 24, 2004, to Colleen Bonds and Lee Chouinard in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
From his earliest days, Kaiden brought an undeniable spark of light and joy into the world. He grew into a responsible, generous, caring, and kind-hearted young man. Known for his infectious smile, playful sense of humor, and generous spirit, he had a remarkable ability to make friends easily, brighten the darkest days, and lift the spirits of everyone around him.
Kaiden had a deep love for the outdoors, and the beauty of nature held special significance for him. He explored God's creation while growing up in Canada and later living in Hawaii and Utah.
Kaiden developed a passion for football at the age of eight and carried that love for the game throughout his youth. He valued the friendships, teamwork, and experiences the sport brought into his life and was honored to be part of Kahuku high school's state championship team.
Whether he was spending time with friends, working out, hiking, or climbing at the gym, he approached life with a joyful energy that those who knew him will never forget.
His friends often shared that he was always eager for new experiences and, in recent years, had become increasingly inquisitive and introspective. Kaiden expressed a deep love for his Savior and sought to emulate His life through service to others. Compassion and kindness came naturally to him, and he touched countless lives through his genuine care for those around him.
Above all, Kaiden treasured his relationships with family and friends. He was a devoted son, brother, grandson, and friend who leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Kaiden is survived by his mother, Colleen (Robert); his sister, Luna; his brother, Van; his grandparents; and his many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
A private graveside service will be held in St. George on June 22, 2026. A celebration of Kaiden's life will be held in Calgary, Canada, in the coming days.
