Karen Armstrong

August 28, 1942 — May 6, 2025

Henderson, NV

Karen Armstrong 82, of Henderson NV (for 27 years) passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025 at the Meadows at Escalante in St George, Utah. Born in California, she was the youngest of 6 siblings. Karen attended UCLA (she was forever a bruins fan!), eventually graduating with a degree in Hospital Administration, with a specialty in brain cognition, disease and disorders. Being a highly respected Administrator, she worked across the southwest part of the country. Karen went to various hospitals who were in need of new management and oversight, from ensuring effective care delivery, overseeing staff management, excelling in communication leadership. Her warmth and compassionate heart, along with her strong faith in God, were the catalysts that lead to her total success, both at home and at work. All those who had the opportunity to know Karen and work along side her, loved and respected her.

Karen also loved to craft wreaths, of all themes, be it football, holidays or specialty, most of them being given as gifts to employees or friends as it was part of her generous nature. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith in God, generosity, humility and integrity with friends, and family. What a great legacy to leave behind!!

Karen is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Evan Armstrong, as well as her oldest sister, Jean. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Robins, and her three grandchildren, Austin, Chase, and Jianna.

The formula that Karen lived by is from John Wesley for living a saintly life: "Do all the good you can, By all the means you can, In all the ways you can, All the time you can, To all the people you can, As long as ever you can." Goodbyes are not forever, Karen. We love and miss you - can't wait to see you again!!
