Kate made her home in Vass, NC, where she lived surrounded by her family and those who loved her deeply. Though her time with us was far too short, her life was marked by curiosity, kindness, and a courageous spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Kate had a heart for exploration. She set a goal to visit every state, embracing new places and experiences with excitement and wonder. She found joy in discovery and meaning in even the simplest moments. Whether traveling, sharing laughter at the dinner table, or celebrating life’s milestones, Kate brought warmth and light wherever she went.

She was known for her compassion and her ability to see the good in others. Her kindness was steady and sincere, and her love for her family was evident in both word and action. She carried a quiet strength — protective, thoughtful, and deeply caring.

Kate leaves behind her loving parents, Mycal Brown and Olena Brown, and her cherished siblings, Ivan, Misha, Masha, Sasha, and Max, all of Vass, North Carolina. She is also remembered by extended family and many friends whose lives were forever touched by her presence.

While we grieve her loss, we also celebrate the beautiful light she brought into this world. Her adventurous spirit, generous heart, and faith continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026 at 9:00 AM at Hughes Mortuary. Graveside service will immediately follow, located at Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 S Dixie Drive, Saint George UT 84770.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor Kate to perform an act of kindness in her memory — explore somewhere new, forgive freely, and love boldly, just as she did.

Though death brings sorrow, love endures. Kate’s light remains in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
