Kenneth Hansen “Kenny” Davis, 77, of St. George, Utah, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, Kenny will be remembered for his unwavering dedication—to his country, his community, and most of all, his family.

Born on November 16, 1947, in Bingham Canyon, Utah, to Kenneth Holiday Davis and Dorothy Jane (Hansen) Davis, Kenny learned the value of hard work early in life. He spent his summers working at Kennecott Mine before attending Dixie College, where he met the love of his life, Gracie Caroline Riggs. Kenny and Gracie were married on June 7, 1969, in Kanab, Utah. Shortly thereafter, they moved to Logan, where Kenny graduated from Utah State University before entering pilot training.

Kenny proudly served in the United States Air Force for 23 years. During his distinguished career, he flew as a C-5 pilot and later served as an ROTC instructor, roles through which he influenced and inspired many young cadets. As Kenny and Gracie traveled through Air Force life, they welcomed three children who became the subject and focus of his world.

After retiring from the Air Force as a Lt. Colonel in 1993, Kenny returned home to St. George. There he embraced a life filled with simple joys—tending his garden, canning, golfing with friends, and savoring the special privilege of being “Papa” to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Kenny is survived by his beloved wife, Gracie Caroline; his children Angele (Briant) of Lander, WY, K.C. (Lindsay) of Boise, ID, and Sarah (Tony) of Washington City, UT; five grandchildren—Whitney, Chloe, Briant Jr., Sadie, and Henry; six great-grandchildren; and his sister, Jane (Stan). He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Tom (Della).

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Hughes Mortuary, 1037 E 700 S, St. George, Utah.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Utah Food Bank.
