Kent Dwayne Lofthouse passed away peacefully the morning of August 7", 2025, in St. George, Utah at the age of 82. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Kent was born on October 13, 1942, in Willard, Utah to Charles and Faye Lofthouse. He spent his childhood and school years farming in Willard and found his love of fixing cars.
After high school, he traveled around and found himself in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he worked at his first radiator shop. This is where he found his passion of working on radiators.
After Vegas, he headed to California and found a love for racing cars. He began to build his own cars and raced at Saugus Speedway.
During this time, he began to build his family and then later found his permanent home in St. George, Utah. He started his very own radiator business in St. George where he later retired.
Kent is survived by his brother Ron Lofthouse (Valdi), and his children Wanda, Lynne (Doug), Kelly, Christine (Eric), Michael, Minda (Jason), Kale (Holly) and 14 grandchildren and a handful of great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Charles and Faye Lofthouse, and his brothers Dale and Bob.
A graveside service will be held at the Veyo, Utah cemetery on August 9th, 2025, at 10:00 am.
