Knaavi Ameri Studer

Knaavi Ameri Studer, age 17, of St. George, Utah, passed away on September 3, 2025. She was born on December 7, 2007, in St. George to Maggie Studer (Stringham) and Kris Studer.

Knaavi grew up in Washington and St. George and graduated a year early from Career Tech High School in May 2025.

From the very beginning, Knaavi was a bubbly, bright, and funny spirit. She loved animals, nature, kids, and her family deeply. Her infectious smile and laugh made it impossible not to love her or want to be near her. She was constantly playing pranks on her parents and planning surprises for the people she loved.

She had a love of history and, as a teenager, became quite patriotic. She often shared fun facts and stories — especially about Benjamin Franklin, who she affectionately called “Benny.” We loved hearing about the newest facts she’d picked up and had to share with everyone enthusiastically.

Knaavi was happiest spending time with “her baby,” her little brother Phoenix and her cat, Unikitty. Time with her animals and brothers always filled her with joy. Even though she grew up surrounded by brothers, Knaavi was always dainty, soft, and wonderfully girly. She was our princess, and it is hard to imagine life without her sweet, funny, and radiant energy.

Knaavi is survived by her mommy, Maggie Stringham; her dad, Kris Studer; her mummy, Sarah Studer (Lebaron); her brothers, Traagen and Aiden Studer, Chance and André Garnica, Kalen, Asher, Phoenix, and Atticus Winkler; and her sister, Lily Krastev. She also leaves behind her grandparents Eric and Jana Dawson, her grandpa Kelly Studer, her grandma Dennie Tsuya, her grandma Brenda Buckner, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close family friends who loved her dearly.

A celebration of Knaavi’s life will be held at a later date.
