Lillian Grace Chidester, 79, passed peacefully at home with family on September 18, 2025.
She was a giving Mother, Grandmother, Wife, Sister, Aunt, and Friend who will be missed. She was kind and strived to serve despite her health challenges. She loved to serve how she could. I remember her on the phone for hours talking to those who needed a friend.
Grace was born in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1946. She was 6th of 9 children. She grew up in Salem, Utah. She married Ralph Chidester in the Salt Lake Temple. They made their home in Mapleton, Utah where they raised their children. They moved to Saint George in 2001.
Grace loved to craft and never stopped creating. She was so talented. She loved to paint, draw, scrapbook, needlepoint and sew. She sewed many wedding dresses throughout the years. She loved to learn as well as teach. Whenever she learned a new hobby she could not wait to teach everyone what she learned.
She is preceded in death by her son Bryon and her husband Ralph.
