Lorie battled her illness with love and vigor. 9 years ago she was told she only had 2 years left of life. She was able to give us 7 more. She loved hard cared deeply. The only thing she asked of anyone was a little bit of their time to give her more memories. She went up to be in the arms of her mom and daughter on August 29th 2025. This is not a good bye. Just a “see you later”.
Lorie loved the outdoors. She couldn’t help but wave at every motorcycle on the road. Even the noise of the motor, either truck or cycle, would put a smile on her face. Lorie would say “Riding Alone?” always wanting a ride.
With Trout being her last name she truly loved the water. A stream, ocean or fishing at the lake you can hear her singing with enthusiasm.
Lorie was very playful and mischievous like her beloved cats. At work she would play tricks on her co-workers. Such as tying things down or wrapping a car in saran wrap. Lorie enjoyed being activity director. She loved taking care of people and they loved her. She made people smile.
Lorie was born June 24, 1967. Birthdays were important to her. If she couldn't be with you to sing happy birthday she would record herself and send it to you. Lorie has 4 Children, 11 Grandchildren plus 1 Great Grandchild. We have cherished our time with Lorie. We love you.
