Lorraine H. Wittwer, age 69, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Monday, May 18, 2026.
Lorraine was born on June 20, 1956, in Cedar City to Phyliss Fanning and William Hart. She graduated from Cedar High School in 1975 while working throughout her high school years at Arctic Circle, a job she truly loved and always remembered fondly.
Lorraine spent most of her life in St. George, where she became known for her strong work ethic, kindness, and devotion to her family. She worked in retail at Kmart for more than 20 years, forming many lasting friendships along the way.
Her most cherished work came later in life when she and her husband, Khris, owned and operated the Duck Creek General Store together. She loved the people, the mountain community, and the opportunity to work side by side with her husband doing something they both enjoyed.
Lorraine loved spending time at their cabin in Duck Creek and being out in nature. She loved collecting antiques, spending time with her dog Blue, and enjoying her caramel ice cream shakes.
Lorraine is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Khris Wittwer; her children, Jared Gardner, Josh Pectol (Jamie), and Carly Bingham (Tyler); her nine beloved grandchildren, who brought endless joy to her life; and her five siblings, whom she loved dearly and cherished her childhood memories with.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her brother, Donald; and her mother- and father-in-law, Phyliss and Earl Wittwer.
Lorraine will be remembered for her warmth, strength, her giggle, and the unconditional love she gave to those around her. Her family was the center of her world, and the memories she created with them will be treasured forever.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
