Mae Tafuna

Mae Toe Maui’a Tafuna was born on March 19, 1975 in Faga’alu, American Samoa to Itila and Sinei.  She was the fourth of six siblings and was raised in Laie and Kahuku, Hawaii.  She married her eternal companion Sosaia Tauniuvalu Tafuna and together they have six children, Filo, Lose, Maile, Onevai, Sone, and So’ona.  
Toe was a Laie Girl, Red Raider for Life and most importantly, part of that Bang Bang Niner Gang all day, everyday.  She grew up learning from a very young age to be in the service of others and that is just how she lived her life til the day she left this earthly life.  She will be remembered for someone that you always could count on, that no matter where and what occasion it may be, if she was asked to help, she was there.  And because of this, she was loved by everyone.
