Marie Ann Jones

Marie Ann Jones of St. George, Utah, 89, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025. Marie was born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan September 23, 1935 to Frederick Lonsdale Jacobs and Anna Margaret Kruming. She was married to James Edward Miller and Kerry Grant Jones.

Marie was born in her parents’ home in Grosse Pointe, Michigan and was raised there as well. She Graduated from Grosse Pointe High School, now known as Grosse Pointe South. She moved to Leeds, Utah in 1970 where she lived with her mother and near her sister Margaret. Marie was a secretary by profession and a dedicated, enthusiastic Avon Representative. She was gregarious and could have a lively conversation with anyone. She loved her friends and cherished her time with them. As one of her dear friends said of Marie, “She always looked nice and well put-together. She was a good and kind person.”

She is predeceased by her parents, siblings, and her son James Edward Miller. She is survived by her son Steven Norman Miller (Katie) of St. George, Utah, grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

Funeral services will be announced. Interment will take place in the Leeds, Utah cemetery.
