It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Marshall Simmons, beloved son, brother, and exceptional friend. Marshall passed away peacefully early Saturday morning November 16th, 2024, at the age of 27.
A devoted family man and loyal friend, Marshall cherished his loved ones deeply. His daily phone calls, a ritual of care and connection, were a testament to his love and concern. He possessed a unique ability to forge bonds with people from all walks of life, radiating warmth and kindness. His genuine spirit and infectious laughter brought joy and light to those around him.
Marshall was a man of many passions and interests. He found great joy in participating in ride-alongs with local police forces across the country, gaining firsthand insight into the challenges and triumphs of law enforcement. He was also a dedicated advocate for his community, serving as a LifeFlight Ambassador and tirelessly working to gain in person meetings with local government wherever he would travel. As always, his persistence paid off when he finally secured multiple in-person meetings with the governor's offices, across the nation. Beyond his civic engagement, Marshall had a deep-rooted love for the rodeo. He attended as many events as possible, eagerly watching the Wright brothers compete in the saddle bronc. His enthusiasm for the sport was infectious, and he shared his passion with others.
Marshall's faith in Jesus was a cornerstone of his life. He shared his beliefs openly and enthusiastically, inspiring others with his unwavering devotion. While no one is perfect, Marshall strived for excellence in all aspects of his life and came as close to perfect as you can come. His family finds solace in the knowledge that he is now reunited with his loved ones in Heaven, sitting at the right hand of Jesus.
Marshall was a kind and compassionate soul who touched the lives of many. Marshall will be deeply missed across multiple states by his family and friends. ROLL TIDE!
