McKenzie Eschler. 22, passed away Saturday, August 8,2020. She was born March 23, 1998 in St. George, Utah. Her parents are Jack and Beth(Eschler) Barnard.
Kenzie lived her entire life in Southern Utah, primarily Hurricane, Utah. She graduated from Hurricane High School in 2016. She attended Dixie State University where she was to graduate December 2020 in Exercise Science. Kenzie was employed as a clinical research assistant, by Rocky Vista University in Ivins, Utah. Her passion was weight lifting at her gym, VASA. She loved to travel, especially U.S. national parks and Hawaii and Florida. She loves animals especially her beloved dog, TJ, art, puns, memes and anything in nature. Kenzie is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she loved going to temples in Utah and anywhere she traveled if there was a nearby temple, she would attend.
She is survived by her parents, Jack Barnard and Beth Eschler, Hurricane, Utah; brothers: Rhett Barnard (Becky) Springville, Utah, Jake Barnard (Tiffany), Mesa AZ, Seth Barnard(Brittany) Peoria Arizona, Brandon Barnard, Mesa AZ, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
There will be a viewing on Friday, August 14, 2020 from 6-8 PM, Hughes Mortuary, 1037 East 700 South St. George, UT; viewing on Saturday August 15, 2020, 9-10 AM and Funeral Services will be 10:30-11:30 both at the Far West chapel 320 North, 3400 West Hurricane UT. Interment will take place in the Hurricane City cemetery.
