Sadly, Michelle (aka Sam) has departed this earthly realm, but not before getting as much enjoyment out of life as she possibly could. She leaves behind a loving sister and brother-in-law, many aunts, uncles and cousins and countless friends from coast to coast as well as new-found family and friends from all over the world.
Michelle very much enjoyed her 41-year career as a medical transcriptionist and excelled at it, remaining in the top tier of accuracy and production the entire time. She was as much admired for her ability and thirst for knowledge as she was for her sense of humor and laughter.
Living in San Diego for 39 years was a dream come true for Michelle. After retiring at age 62, she loved being a part of many clubs and activities in the active adult community she called home in St George, Utah. In her spare time, she found genealogy and became completely absorbed in it. She was able to uncover all the information about our mother's biological family as well as finding new cousins and making international friends along the way. Many historical facts were also discovered about our Bessette family as well, including finding out that our 8th great-grandparents were settlers of the “New France” (Quebec) and that we are cousins of “Saint Andre” Bessette.
Michelle had a strong faith in God and was not afraid to die. She did not want people to be sad but wanted us all to remember her with fondness and goodness in our hearts. If anyone so desires to donate in her honor, her favorite charities were Samaritan's Purse, St Jude's Hospital and Tunnel to Towers.
