Ofelia Hernández Alarcón, de 63 años, falleció el 18 de Octubre de 2025 rodeada de su amorosa familia. Nació el 13 de Enero de 1962 en Acapulco, Guerrero, México, hija de Eucario y Alberta Hernández. Ofelia creció en Acapulco, Guerrero, México. Se casó con el amor de su vida, Florentino Alarcón, el 26 de Junio de 1982 y posteriormente dos semanas después se mudaron a California. En Septiembre de 1998, se establecieron en St. George, Utah, donde criaron a sus tres hijos. Ofelia amaba ser ama de casa y estar rodeada de su familia, especialmente de sus nietos. Era una persona llena de vida y un corazón aventurero. Disfrutaba mucho de diferentes géneros musicales, bailar y verse y sentirse guapa, pero su pasión era cocinar. Siempre se preocupaba por quien entrara por la puerta para que no se fuera con hambre. Fue la mujer más valiente y fuerte que jamás hayas conocido. Luchó hasta su último aliento. A Ofelia le sobreviven su esposo, Florentino Alarcón, St. George, Utah; Edith Alarcón, California; Ronnie (Lacey) Alarcón , Hurricane, Utah; Melissa Alarcón, St. George, Utah; y sus siete nietos. El funeral se celebrará el 8 de Noviembre a la 1:00 p. m. en la Iglesia Católica de St. George, 259 W. 200 N., St. George, UT 84770.   • Ofelia Alarcon Hernández age 63 passed away October 18, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 13, 1962 in Acapulco Guerrero Mexico to Eucario and Alberta Hernandez. Ofelia was raised in Acapulco Guerrero Mexico. She married the love of her life Florentino Alarcon, June 26, 1982 and later they moved to California in 1983 then, in September of 1998, they ventured to St. George Utah, where they raised their three children. Ofelia loved being a homemaker and being around her family, especially her grandkids. She was a soul full of life with an adventurous heart. She really enjoyed different genres of music, dancing, and looking and feeling pretty, but her most favorite thing was cooking. She was always worried for whoever walked in the door that they didn’t go away hungry. She was the most courageous and strongest woman you could ever know. She fought until her very last breath. Ofelia is survived by her husband, Florentino Alarcon St. George, Utah Edith Alarcon California, Ronnie (Lacey) Alarcon Hurricane, Utah Melissa Alarcon, St. George, Utah and her seven grandkids. Funeral service will be held November, 8th at 1:00PM at St. George Catholic Church.
