Robert Michael Bull

Robert Michael Bull passed away peacefully in St. George, Utah, on August 29, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 12, 1948, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Robert Edward Bull and Bethel Bull, Michael was the eldest of four children, including two brothers and one sister. His childhood was spent in Salt Lake City and later in Pocatello, Idaho.

After graduating from Highland High School, Michael attended Idaho State University for a year before serving a mission in the Argentina North Mission under his mission president, the future apostle, Elder Richard G. Scott. Upon returning from his mission, his parents had relocated to California for his father’s job, and Michael resumed dating Judith Ellen Clark, whom he had begun dating prior to his mission. They were happily sealed on January 12, 1972, in the Oakland Temple.

Following his mission, Michael pursued his passion for accounting and finance, completing his degree at San Jose State University. He embarked on a successful career as an accountant, eventually ascending to the position of Senior Vice President at a telecommunications company in Silicon Valley.However, Michael’s most significant life accomplishments were his family and faith. He and Judy shared two beloved sons. Throughout his life, Michael dedicated himself to serving the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in various capacities, including Seminary teacher, Bishoprics, and High Councils, to name a few. Michael was a devoted Young Men’s Leader, dedicating his life to serving his community and guiding the next generation. He served as a Scoutmaster several times for many years, during which he cherished the opportunity to mentor not only his sons but also all rising generation in his charge. He instilled in them the values of faith, growth, and service, helping grow their faith in the Savior Jesus Christ.

Michael’s commitment to service extended beyond his church. He generously offered his time, talents, and resources to individuals and organizations within and outside his faith community. In 1995, the company he worked for relocated to St. George, Utah, where he and his wife, Judy, settled and remained for the remainder of his life. 

Michael’s passions lay in fishing, attending sporting events, and spending quality time with his family. He found his greatest joy spending time with his wife, sons, grandchildren, and friends, and Loved his Savior Jesus Christ with all of his heart. 

Michael Bull is survived by his wife, Judy, of St. George, Utah; two sons, Michael Bull (Lora) of Monument, Colorado, and Garrett Bull (Kellie) of Orem, Utah; twelve grandchildren, Cameron Bull, Rachel Price (Bryson), Ellie Bull, Kaitlyn Bull, Sarah Bull, Logan Bull, Alyssa Bull, Emily Bull, Ian Bull, Oakley Bull, Kobe Bull, and Kaden Bull; and one sister, Susan Toone (Kent), of Centerville, Utah. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bethel Bull; and his two brothers, Steve Bull and John Bull. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 5th, at 10:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 550 East 700 South St George, Utah. Interment will take place on Tuesday, September 8th, at Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Family would like to thank the wonderful team at Dixie regional medical center for all the love and care they showed Michael.
