Our beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and friend, Robin Joyce (Wilford) Bunderson, passed away on June 22, 2026, in Hurricane, Utah. Robin was born on March 23, 1948, in Whittier, California, to John Stanley Wilford and Nell Robin Shields.

Robin’s mother passed away due to complications from childbirth, and her father later married Norma E. Bleak, who lovingly became Mom to Robin. Robin was grateful for her family and cherished the relationships she had with her siblings. She especially shared a special bond with her sister Sharon, as the two girls grew up together in a home full of brothers. Robin always looked forward to time spent with her siblings and loved them dearly.

On May 11, 1979, Robin married the love of her life, Philip Victor Bunderson. She lovingly embraced Philip’s four children from his previous marriage and together they later welcomed two more daughters. Robin’s greatest joy was her family, and she treasured her role as a mother and grandmother. She was blessed with 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandkids whom she loved dearly.

Robin’s faith was an important part of her life. In 1969, Robin proudly served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Saskatchewan, Canada. Serving a mission was something Robin was very proud of, and she had many wonderful experiences that helped build her faith and testimony of Jesus Christ. She loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and looked for every opportunity she could to serve in the temple. Robin spent much of her career as a secretary for the Church Education System. She loved the students and seminary teachers she worked with and found great joy in the friendships she made throughout the years.

She shared her faith through the way she lived and through the love and kindness she showed to others. One of the loving reminders she gave her children as they left the house was always, “Remember who you are.”

Robin loved music and singing hymns at church. Although she may not have considered herself a gifted singer, that never stopped her from singing with all her heart. “How Great Thou Art” was a favorite, and Robin sang it with great passion and love.

Robin had a gift for making people feel welcome. She loved her friends, enjoyed meeting new people, and genuinely cared about the lives of those around her. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved a good practical joke, whether she was the one planning it or the one being surprised. She also had a special love for Elvis and brought her own fun, vibrant personality into everything she did. Her favorite color was red, a fitting reflection of her warmth and energy.

Robin loved creating special memories for her family. She had a special love for Christmas and, even during times when money was tight, she made sure the holidays were filled with joy, love, and memories her children would carry with them. She also loved spending time with Philip exploring new places by taking long drives or off-roading on the back roads and enjoying the journey along the way.

Robin is survived by her husband, Philip Victor Bunderson; her children, Eugene (Maureen) Bunderson, Lisa (Daniel) Klein, Amber (Jeff) Franklin, John (Amanda) Bunderson, Audra Bunderson, and Jennet (Bradley) Snow; her siblings Elmer Wilford, Sharon Evans, Richard Wilford, and Leonard Wilford; and her 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandkids

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Stanley Wilford and Nell Robin (Shields); her stepmother, Norma E. (Bleak) Wilford; and her brothers John Stanley Wilford Jr., Paul Wilford, and Russell Wilford.

Robin leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, faith, kindness, and devotion. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
