Ronald George Daniels

September 2, 1963 — September 2, 2022

Ron peacefully left us on his birthday September 2, 2022, at his home in St. George, Utah. He passed surrounded by loved ones, as his wife held him closely and hummed sweet melodies into his ear. He was a valiant warrior and fought hard to keep a positive attitude during his battle with cancer.

Ron was born in Illinois in 1963, later his family moved to Huntington Beach, California, where he spent his formative years. There he met and married his high school sweetheart Julie. After 13 years together they started a family with two wonderful daughters. Wanting the best for his family, Ron moved them to St. George, Utah in 2001. He had lived happily here for the last 20 years.

Ron took great pride in his work ethic and loyalty. Thus he only had two jobs within his career in the grocery industry. He worked 20 years with Lucky’s/Albertsons in Southern California, and another 20 years at the Bloomington Walmart.

Some of Ron’s many passions included surfing, skiing, camping, golfing and traveling. He especially enjoyed road trips, NASCAR, and football. He was always happiest when in the company of his family and friends.

Ron is proceeded by the passing of his mother Charmane, who with no doubt will have greeted him with open arms. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 41 years Julie, his loving daughters Robyn and Brooke, his precious granddaughters Addie and Harlow, his caring father Jerry, and his ever-supportive sister Cindy.

Ron was a proud and happy man. Thank you to all of the many individuals who were part of his full and accomplished life.
