Sherry Ann Crump

On August 9, 2016, the world lost a most beautiful soul.  Our loving wife, mother, nanny (grandmother), sister and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was the most selfless, loving, spunky, and beautiful woman inside and out. She was a fighter until the very end. Sherry loved her family and friends deeply. She was the ultimate homemaker, ironing queen and decorator. She made every holiday, birthday and celebration special with fun-filled family traditions.  Sherry loved shopping, hiking, camping, craft, days with her sisters, watching her brother Dennis run races, puzzles, traveling, and of course her POLITICS. The highlight of her life was being a grandmother. She was and will always be the heart of our family. Sherry was born March 21, 1941 in Roosevelt, Utah to Harold J. and Ruby Shiner Fowler.  She grew up in Altonah, Utah. Her family moved to Sandy, Utah when she was a teenager.  She married Ned Brothers in 1958 (later divorced).  She married Boyd Crump in 1968 and they later retired in St. George, UT. She is survived by her loving husband Boyd Crump, daughters Debbie Noxon and Joni (Larry) Eiseman, sisters Lucille (Grant) Hurst, Pamela Gaye Fowler, brother Dennis Fowler, grandchildren Kiley (Bill) Moyer, Christopher Eiseman, Karli Eiseman, Hannah Noxon and great grandson Calvin Moyer, special niece and nephews Heidi Richards, Jason Hurst and Jeff Hurst, Aunt Jewel Landures, step-children Lori (Rick) Brown and Tracy (Debbie) Crump and special sister-in-law Fern Nelson. Sherry was a liver transplant recipient. Our family would like to express sincere thanks to the IMC transplant team and the many medical professionals who cared for her over the years. We know that Sherry would like to extend a very special thank you to her favorite doctor, Brian Tudor and his wonderful staff. Out of deep respect for this wonderful woman, Sherry requested no funeral be held.  We will honor her with an intimate family gathering at a later date. She will be deeply missed.  In lieu of flowers, please sign up to be an organ donor. Care has been entrusted to Hughes Mortuary (435) 674-5000. Visit www.hughesmortuary.com to leave condolences.
