Listen to Obituary

Stacy Clark, 56, passed away on June 5, 2026, in St. George, Utah, after a short but courageous battle with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.

Stacy was raised in Panguitch, Utah, where she graduated from Panguitch High School in 1988. She later graduated from SUU in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2024, and passed her LCSW test in 2025.

Stacy was a beloved wife, mom, grandma, daughter, sister, and friend whose quick wit, sense of humor, determination, and compassionate heart left an impression on everyone she met.

In 2018, she married Irvin Madson, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and support. She was the proud mom of Makell, Shelby, and Bailey, and stepmom to Tiffney, Felicia, Jeremy, and Hunter. Her greatest joy was being Grandma to Haeden, Ellie, Emry, William, Sloan, Salem, Wren, Townes, and step-grandma to Justice, Drake, Tavish, Ryleigh, Angel, Angela, Jose, Unique and Serenity. Her grandchildren were her world, and she loved every second she spent with them.

Stacy was a true go-getter and one of the hardest-working people you would ever meet. She overcame addiction, rebuilt her life, and turned her struggles into a source of strength and hope for others. After earning her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2024, she became a therapist and dedicated her life to helping those facing addiction, trauma, and struggles of their own. Most recently, she fulfilled a lifelong dream by opening a nonprofit to support individuals affected by domestic violence. Her compassion, resilience, and commitment to helping others will continue to impact lives for years to come.

In the final months of her life, Stacy faced cancer with strength and courage. Though her cancer progressed more quickly than anyone expected, she continued to put on a brave face. Even during her most difficult days, she remained concerned about her family and clients, and carried herself with resilience. Her strength throughout her journey was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her.

She found joy in the simple things: a cold Dr Pepper, her dogs, a good nap, Hawaii, the color blue, crochetting, a true crime show, and, most of all, time with her family. She had a gift for making people feel seen, valued, and cared for. To know Stacy was to know unconditional love, loyalty, and a friendship that could never be replaced.

Those who knew Stacy will remember her strength, resilience and ability to find humor even in difficult moments. She faced life’s challenges with courage. Her love was unconditional.

Though our hearts are broken by her loss, we find comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, family, friends, and the countless lives she touched through her work.

There are no words that can express how deeply she will be missed. She was more than a mother and grandmother, she was a best friend, a source of strength, and the heart of her family. We take comfort in knowing that the love she gave remains with us always and that one day we will see her again.

Stacy is survived by her mother, Charlotte Clark; her siblings, Jay Lynn Clark, Todd Clark, and Michele Clark; her husband, children, stepchildren, and grandchildren; and many other family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jay Clark, and her sister-in-law, Dixie Excel Clark.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 11, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 90 North 400 East, Panguitch, Utah. Family and friends are invited to join us as we honor and celebrate Stacy's life, share memories, and remember the love she brought to so many.

In lieu of flowers, we would love for donations to be made to our mom's nonprofit. She poured her heart into building it and was incredibly passionate about helping those affected by domestic violence. Continuing to support this organization would mean so much to our family and is a beautiful way to carry on the work she dedicated herself to.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever our Stacy.
