Thomas McConnell

Thomas Howard McConnell, 73, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at St George Regional Hospital following a sudden illness.

Tom was born on March 31, 1948 in Kimberly, Nevada to Merriam Elizabeth Shaw and Thomas McConnell. Tom married Julie Hall on October 15, 1976. They were sealed in the St George Temple.

Tom was raised in Ely, Nevada along with his two siblings. Tom graduated from White Pine High School in 1966. After high school he attended So Nevada Vocational Technical College. Tom and Julie moved to St George where they have since resided.

Tom is survived by his wife, Julie, children, Deanne (Paul) Schaugaard, Tommie (Robert) Mason, Jeff McConnell, Jeremy (Theresa) McConnell, and Jenna McConnell, along with his 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Sheridan Baker and Mary Wessel.

There will be no funeral service as he requested.
