Tova Somerville

Tova Somerville passed away July 26th, 2025. She was born in Sacramento CA, November 11th, 1959. Her parents were John and Mary Lynn Richardson. On April 31st, 1977, Tova married Jae Somerville at the young age of 17. After the birth of their daughter, they put down roots in Southern Utah. For the past 45 years they worked, lived and raised their family of 4 kids. Tova loved everything beautiful, loved the arts, paintings, crocheting, quilting, and so much more. Mom loved to listen to books while she worked on her projects. She found so much joy sitting outside in the evening sun and losing herself in a good book. She loved her children and always told everyone the reason why she had kids was to have grandkids. She poured her heart into creating cherished memories with her grandchildren. Lots of her favorite memories were made traveling to Lake Powell, Florida, and Hawaii. Really, anywhere that had sunshine, water and family is where she felt most at home, it became her happy place. She absolutely is the heart and soul of the family and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband Jae Somerville of St. George, Utah; her children Crystal and Daniel Bills with their 4 girls Zoee, Jaylee, Angie and Dani; Christopher (CJ) and Darcee Somerville with their 10 children Markies, Jaeden, Avery, Treyson, Angelina, Jizelle, Athena, Elijah, Emma, Tayjon and their granddaughter Aurora; Timothy and Stephanie Somerville and their 6 boys Jaerick, Jaxton, Hendrix, Mason, Boden and Wilder; Tyler and Joloni Somerville and their 3 children Dean, Ellanor and Troy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members whom will miss her deeply.

There will be a Celebration of Life held Sat, August, 2nd 2pm-4pm at Hughes Mortuary, 1037 East 700 South St George, Utah.
