Las Vegas, Nevada – Wynell Jenson, 86, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, in St. George, Utah. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 8, 1937, to Winford Poulson and Eloise Blair Poulson.  She married Alan Dale Jenson on July 8, 1954, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Wynell was raised in the Sugar House area of Salt Lake City and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada with her husband shortly after her 17th birthday.
While raising her two children, she assisted in the family run shoe store and later focused on being a full-time home maker which allowed her
husband to manage and maintain their family-owned apartments. Wynell enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and was lucky enough to travel frequently. She was also a regular bingo player and avid fan of Elvis Presley.

She is survived by her son Gary Jenson of Las Vegas, Nevada, her granddaughter Heather Smith of Las Vegas, Nevada, her grandson Jared
Sullivan of Henderson, Nevada and great-grandchildren Zackery Smith, Connor Smith, Maddie Smith, and Hayley Smith of Las Vegas, Nevada.
She is preceded in death by her husband Alan Jenson and daughter Vickie Sullivan.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 29th at Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 S. Dixie Dr, St. George, Utah 84770 at 1pm.
