Zella Howells

Zella Janet Howells, 91 years old of Queen Creek, Az  passed away Thursday Nov 1, 2018.She was born Feb 27,1927 in Tooele UT to Thomas Leroy West and Nellie Catherine Lewis. She married William Thomas Howells on Mar 15, 1962 in St George UT.

Zella was raised in Tooele and graduated from High School. She attended Utah State University where she studied Art.

She lived in Utah, Florida, Texas, and Arizona. She loved crocheting beanies for newborns at hospitals in Arizona & Utah.

She loved life and her family, especially everyone that called her " Grandma ".

Zella is survived by her children: Glenda Clifford of lvins, Utah, Mike & Maggie Howells of Taylorsville, Utah, Janet Lehr of Grant's Pass, Oregon, John & Julie Howells of Washington, Utah, Beverly Williams of Richfield, Utah, Shirlee Tapia of Queen Creek, Arizona, Tom & Julie Howells of Midway, Utah and 75 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband William Thomas Howells, her daughter Alene Catlin and her son James “ Bogart" Howells.

Funeral Services will be Saturday November 10th @ 2:00pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 1835 South Washington Fields Road Washington Utah.

Friends may call Nov 10th 1:00pm at that location for a viewing, Interment will take place in the Washington City Cemetery.
