Mohr L Christensen, 52 of Enoch, Utah passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus surrounded by family on Monday, July 5, 2021. Mohr was born August 7, 1968 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Steven and Bonnie Christensen. He married the love of his life, Marcy Lyn Kile on October 8, 1988 in Escalante, Utah. In November of 1989 they had their beautiful daughter, Amanda Sue and in December of 1993 they had a precious son, Joshua Mohr. Mohr loved and served his family continually. They are his pride and joy.
Mohr was a CODA (Child of deaf adults). His first language was sign language. He grew up learning how to fish and hunt with his dad and uncles. He had a love for the outdoors and took every opportunity to get out and camp. He loved taking pictures of God’s creation.
Mohr had many health struggles, but he didn’t complain. He was a commercial truck driver for 23 years. He loved driving and he would keep on truckin’ no matter what.
Mohr enjoyed making friends and meeting new people. He also loved to take pictures of God’s creation. Mohr had a passion to selflessly serve people- when he was aware of a need, he would figure out how to help. His nickname was “Mohr-gyver” because he could come up with unique solutions to fix just about anything. He was extremely creative and loved woodworking. He recently built a beautiful master bedroom/bathroom for his wife. Mohr believed in the power of prayer and trusted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Mohr is survived by his wife, Marcy Christensen; daughter, Amanda Christensen and future son-in-law Josh Baker; son, Joshua Christensen; parents, Steven and Bonnie Christensen; sister, Starla (Tim) Ashman; brother in laws, Terry Kile (Mendy), Scott Cochran, Dan (Suzy) Cochran; nephews, Travis and Kenneth JR Leeds and many other nephews and nieces.
